# Add a web page

> Let answers use a page from your website, like pricing or a changelog.

Some answers already exist on your website. Add those pages and the AI can answer from them too.

## Add a page

1. Open **Help center**.
2. Select **Add a new source**, then **Add a web page**.
3. Paste the address of a public page and select **Save**.

chat.sh fetches the page when you save. You can see every page you added under **Sources**, in **Web pages**.

## How readers see it

A web page is used for search and answers. It is not added to your sidebar as an article. When an answer uses it, the citation opens the page on your site.

## Good pages to add

- Pricing and plan pages
- Changelogs and release notes
- Terms, privacy, and security pages
- Integration or API reference pages

The page must be public. Pages behind a login cannot be fetched.

## How it counts

A web page counts toward your page allowance by its text: one page for every 2,500 characters. A page that could not be fetched does not count.
