# Add analytics

> Track visits with the analytics tool you already use.

Add your own analytics to see who reads your help center.

## Set it up

1. Open **Help center**, then **Analytics**.
2. Pick your tool.
3. Enter the ID it asks for and select **Save**.

Only a workspace owner can change this.

## Supported tools

| Tool | What to enter |
| --- | --- |
| Simple Analytics | Nothing |
| Google Analytics 4 | Measurement ID, like G-XXXXXXX |
| Google Tag Manager | Container ID, like GTM-XXXXXXX |
| Plausible | The domain as registered in Plausible |
| Fathom | Site ID |
| DataFast | Website ID |
| Something else | The script URL, starting with https:// |

Each field shows where to find the ID in that tool.

## Turn it off

Pick **None** and select **Save**.
