# Change the name, logo, and colors

> Make the help center look like your product.

Open **Help center**, then **Appearance**. The preview updates as you change things. Select **Save** when you are done.

## Brand name

The name beside your logo in the sidebar and in the browser tab. Use 2 to 80 characters.

## Home page heading

The two lines above the search box on the home page:

- **Home page heading**, up to 70 characters.
- **The line under it**, up to 160 characters.

Leave both empty to keep the built-in wording.

## Logo

PNG, JPEG, SVG, or WebP, under 512 KB. It sits in front of the name, so use your square mark rather than the full wordmark.

## Accent colour

Pick one of the presets or any colour you like. Links and the current page use it. If a colour is too light to read on white, the text uses a darker shade of it.

## Sidebar links

Add up to two links, like your support page or your app. They sit at the bottom of the sidebar, in the order you list them.

A link can be a web address or an email address. Enter `support@acme.com` or `mailto:support@acme.com`, and readers who select it get a new email to that address.
