# Create an account

> Sign up with Google or an email and password.

## After you buy

1. Buy a lifetime on the pricing page.
2. Create your account with **the same email address you paid with**. That is how your purchase finds you.
3. Create your first workspace.

## Two ways to sign up

- **Continue with Google**, using the Google account for that email address.
- **Email and password**, with a password of at least 8 characters. Confirm your address from the email we send.

## Joining a teammate's workspace

If someone invited you, you do not need to buy anything. Open the link in the invite and sign up with the email address it was sent to.

## Bought with a different email

Email [support@chat.sh](mailto:support@chat.sh) from the address you paid with and we will move the purchase.
