# Invite a teammate

> Add people who write and publish articles with you.

## Send an invite

1. Open **Settings**, then **Team**.
2. Enter your teammate's email address and select **Send invite**.

They get an email with an **Accept invite** button. They sign in or sign up with that exact address to join.

Only an owner can invite people.

## Pending invites

Invites you have sent are listed under **Pending** until they are accepted. For each one you can:

- **Copy** the invite link, to send it another way.
- **Revoke** it, so the link stops working.

An invite link lasts 7 days. To send a fresh one, invite the same address again.

## What teammates can do

Members can write, edit, and publish articles and manage the help center's sources. Owners can also invite and remove people and change analytics.

## Remove someone

Open **Settings**, then **Team**, and select **Remove** next to the person.
