# Organize articles into collections

> Group articles in the sidebar and on the home page.

Collections are the groups in your help center's sidebar. Each article belongs to one collection.

## Manage collections

Open **Help center**, then **Collections**. From there you can:

- Add a collection.
- Rename it.
- Give it an icon, shown beside it in the sidebar.
- Drag collections to change their order.
- Drag one collection into another to make it a heading with collections under it. Collections nest one level deep.

To move an article to a different collection, open the article and change its **Collection**.

## On the home page

The first three collections that have published articles appear as cards on your home page, in the same order as the sidebar. Put the ones readers need most at the top.

## Links stay the same

An article's address does not include its collection. Moving an article between collections never breaks a link to it.
