Macros
Save the replies your team writes again and again, then type / in the reply box to drop one in. Dynamic macros go further: put braces around what changes, like {first name}, and AI fills it in from the conversation. Macros are shared across the team, and you can start from ready-made Support and Sales templates.

- Inbox
@mentions in notes
Type @ in a private note to pull in a teammate. They get notified, so a question for them does not sit unseen.
- Inbox
Search conversations
Find any conversation by name, email, or subject from the top of the inbox.
- Integrations
Stripe app
Connect Stripe and see what a customer pays for right beside their conversation, so your team answers billing questions without switching tabs.
View on Stripe Marketplace - Inbox
See what the AI handled
The inbox now shows which conversations the AI is handling, and flags the questions your help center could not answer, so your team knows where to step in.
- Messenger
Images in AI answers
When a screenshot in your help center explains the step better than words, the AI can show it right in the answer.
- Integrations
Webhooks and Slack alerts
Get a Slack message or a signed JSON webhook when a conversation is handed to your team, a customer writes again, or an article goes live.
- Inbox
Turn a conversation into an article
One click writes your team's answer up as a help article, with the customer's details left out, and saves it as a draft to review. Once it is published, the AI can give that answer to the next customer.
- AI agents
Run support from your AI agent
Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatGPT can now work your inbox over MCP: read conversations, draft replies for you to approve, and write the articles you are missing.

Fonts and dark mode for help centers
Pick the font that matches your brand, and let readers switch between light and dark.
- Inbox
Spam handling
Mark a conversation as spam to clear it out of the way, restore it if you got it wrong, or block the sender for good.
- Inbox
The inbox
A shared inbox in every workspace. Chats from the messenger and email to your support address land in one place, so your team can step in where the AI stops.
- Inbox
Rewrite with AI
Write a rough reply and let the AI tidy it up from the reply box before you send it.
- Inbox
Live conversations
New messages, alerts, and who is online or typing all show up without a refresh, for your team and for your visitors.
- Messenger
File attachments and conversation history
Visitors and your team can send files in a conversation, and visitors can find their earlier conversations in the messenger.
- Inbox
Undo send
Replies wait a few seconds before they go out, so you can take one back. Each teammate can turn the wait off.
- Inbox
Forward your support email
Forward your support address to chat.sh and every email becomes a conversation in the inbox. There are step-by-step guides for Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, and Microsoft 365. Customers can reply by email, and so can your team.
- Help center
Import from Help Scout
Bring your Help Scout Docs site over, with its articles, images, and videos.
Import from Help Scout - Messenger
The AI messenger
Add one tag to your site and an AI chatbot answers visitors from your help center, with its sources numbered. It comes with a JavaScript SDK, verified visitor identity, and analytics on what people ask.
- Help center
Import from Intercom and Notion
Move an existing help center across in a few clicks, instead of copying it over page by page.

- AI agents
MCP for your help center
Connect your AI agent to a workspace and let it search, write, and publish articles for you, with a record of what each app changed and a way to revoke it.
- Help center
chat.sh launches with the help center
A help center with AI answers built in, on your own domain or in a folder on your site, like yoursite.com/help.

Web pages and PDFs as sources
Let answers draw on more than your articles: add a page from your website, like pricing, or upload a PDF.
