ImportNotion

For teams who write their docs in Notion and want them to answer questions.

From a Notion page to a help center that answers.

Connect Notion and tick the page that holds your docs. Sub-pages become collections, pages become articles, and search starts answering from them.

Importing comes with the lifetime: $399 once per workspace, never a subscription.

Three steps from a page to a help center

Notion's own screen asks which pages to share. chat.sh shows what it found before anything is imported.

  1. 1

    Connect Notion

Tick the page that holds your help center. Everything under it comes along, and nothing else is visible to chat.sh.

  2. 2

    Pick the page

chat.sh reads what you shared and counts the collections and articles in it. Bring them in as drafts to review first.

  3. 3

    Import

Articles land as they are written, with images, videos, and PDFs copied in the same pass. You can close the window.

It reads your structure, not just your text

A Notion workspace is arranged by whoever wrote it. The import follows that arrangement instead of flattening it into one long list.

Your outline becomes the sidebar

Sub-pages become collections. Headings on a contents page group the pages under them. A database becomes a collection with an article per row.

Blocks come through as formatting

Callouts, to-dos, tables, code, and columns turn into clean articles. A page that only lists other pages is used for structure, not published as an empty article.

Files that outlive the hour

Notion's file links stop working after an hour. Images, videos, and PDFs are copied while they still work.

Read-only, by design

chat.sh only reads the pages you pick. It never changes anything in Notion, and never sees who is in your workspace.

Edit in Notion, import again

Pages are matched to the articles they made, so nothing doubles up, and anything you edited here is kept.

Questions

Something not here? Email support@chat.sh.

Do I need a paid plan?
Yes. Importing comes with the lifetime. A free workspace can try everything else first.
Which pages can chat.sh see?
Only the ones you tick on Notion's screen, and the pages under them. To add more later, select Share other pages in the import window.
Does it keep syncing with Notion?
No. An import is a copy at that moment. Import again after editing in Notion; articles you changed in chat.sh are left as you wrote them.
What does not come over?
Comments, pages you did not share, and attachments other than images, videos, and PDFs, such as Word documents or audio.
What if I go past my page allowance?
Articles that do not fit come in as drafts, so nothing is lost. Publish them once there is room.
