Search and answers

How readers find pages and get answers with sources.

Every help center has one box for both: Ask anything, or search for a page. Readers can open it from any page with ⌘K, or Ctrl K on Windows.

As a reader types, matching pages appear. Search covers your published articles, web pages, and PDFs. It is free and does not use credits.

Answers

When a reader asks a question, chat.sh writes a short answer from your sources:

  • It uses only what is in your workspace.
  • Each claim is numbered, and the number links to the page it came from.
  • When your sources do not cover the question, it says so and suggests contacting support.

Each answer uses one AI credit from your monthly allowance.

Getting better answers

Answers are only as good as the sources behind them. The quickest improvements:

  • Give each article a clear title and a one-sentence description.
  • Write one article per question rather than one long page for everything.
  • Add the web pages and PDFs readers already rely on.
