What chat.sh is

A help center that answers questions from your own articles, pages, and PDFs.

chat.sh is a help center for your product. You write articles, add the web pages and PDFs you already have, and readers get a searchable site at its own address.

What readers get

  • A home page with your collections and your most common questions.
  • A search box that finds the right page as they type.
  • An AI answer written from your sources, with each claim linked to the page it came from.

What it answers from

Every answer comes from what you put in the workspace:

  • Articles you write in chat.sh or import from a text or Markdown file.
  • Web pages you paste in, like a pricing page or a changelog.
  • PDFs you upload, like a manual or a spec sheet.

When your sources do not cover a question, the answer says so and points the reader to support.

Where it lives

Each help center starts at its own address on chat.sh. You can move it to your own domain, like help.acme.com, or serve it from a folder on your site, like acme.com/help.
